Youth Beyond Boundaries (YBB) is a dynamic, youth-led organisation powered by the scholarship recipients of UCSI University and UCSI College. As a collective of visionary student leaders, YBB is committed to making a lasting difference by shaping future leaders who are prepared to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.

To serve as a platform for nurturing competent, socially responsible future leaders, equipping them to become champions of tomorrow’s challenges.

Rooted in a Leadership Journey that encompasses Enrichment, Exposure, Experience, and Exemplary Leadership, YBB empowers UCSI scholars to step beyond the classroom and grow into future-ready individuals.

At YBB, scholars gain hands-on leadership experience — from organising national-level events, driving sustainability initiatives, and building innovative startup ventures to contributing to social and community development. Every initiative challenges our scholars to turn their values into action, think critically, and emerge as changemakers.

Youth Beyond Boundaries (YBB) as led by its name is a platform is a youth-led fraternity by scholars of UCSI University to strive for their dream, aiding the community welfare and empowering others to go beyond limitations to achieve their goals.

It all started back in 2011 when a group of UCSI scholars came together to form U-Schos, a platform for holistic development of scholars. In 2018, U-Schos expanded and ventured into 4 different pillars with 14 initiatives in Youth Development, Community & Environment, and Entrepreneurship. Today, Youth Beyond Boundaries still serve these 3 pillars as its core values.

Youth Development

Focusing on the personal development of the scholar, this pillar allows the scholar to upskill themselves, acquiring soft skills and expanding their horizon as they grow.

Entrepreneurship

Learning all about how to run a business, initiatives under this pillar help scholars gain real-world knowledge that prepares them for the business world.

Community & Environment

Future Leaders Empowerment Series

The Future Leaders Empowerment Series (FLES) series features distinguished corporates leaders, industry leaders, and community champions from different areas and expertise to share their knowledge and thoughts in the practice of empowerment and leadership. Through the series young leaders are given the opportunity to interact with successful leaders to exchange ideas and build networks.
