Youth Beyond Boundaries

Nasi Lemak Challange

We know the best way to learn about entrepreneurship is to do it yourself – and the idea of it gave birth to our very first Nasi Lemak Challenge where the participants are to sell Malaysia’s much-loved Nasi Lemak to the public. What’s more interesting about this is that all preparation (from strategising to actual selling) were done in the span of 24 hours. It was such a thrilled yet excitement-packed adventure.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our mentors

Hoo-Yin Leong

(Founder, Espressolab),

Jan Wong

(Co-founder, OpenMinds Resources),

Kim

(Co-founder, The Picha Project) and

Danial

(Trainer,  Tandemic)

who have greatly supported the organising team and provided such valuable entrepreneurial insights and lessons relating to the participants experience throughout the challenge. The learning was immense as the feedback provided was practical (based on the challenge that took place) topped with solid examples from the journey of these experienced entrepreneurs.

p.s. Check out the mentors’ reaction when presented with one of the team’s product – guess us Malaysians just love our Nasi Lemak!
