The Ministry of Primary Industries through Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) has developed Malaysian Palm Oil Student Ambassador Program involving students from public and private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. The programme is part of the effort to engage Malaysian students to disseminate awareness on the importance of Malaysia’s palm oil industry to the country and unfounded allegations of palm oil, in particular the unfair  anti-palm oil campaign by western NGOs. The youths are given the correct information so that they are able to evaluate and realize that the news that is spread is defamatory, and they can act as an ambassador to defend Malaysia’s palm oil.

During this soap making workshop, participants get to DIY their own soap using palm oil soap base, fragrance and decorations of their choice.
